Unfortunately this toy didn't last long against my puppy's play. We played fetch indoors with this toy, and my pup would chew on it in between my tosses. After about 30 minutes, it had a hole and the squeaker came out. Hopefully we'll get a bit more out of this toy by hiding it inside other toys. My pup loves to pull out "the guts" of toys and because this is stuffing-free, it is easily smushed into our Hide-A-Squirrel stump.
Other quick note: You only get one Flattie toy. Admittedly I didn't read the item description too closely when I purchased this toy. However, from the picture, I was expecting four small stuffing-free toys in different animal shapes.
Secondly -the horse had about 3 clusters of cotton (I guess) string for mane and 1 for tail -which pulled right out of the toy -NOT good for my dog (or anyone's dog, for that matter).
Thirdly -the horse has Velcro all along the back side of the toy (essentially the rear end down the leg of the toy) which makes the toy stiff and hard (ergo, making it unsuitable for chewing on).
Fourth -the fleece doesn't seem like fleece -it is really flat, not at all fluffy -as if it was ironed.
LASTLY-my dog doesn't like it (because of the Velcro AND because it is a strange texture of fleece) -which is a shame because the toy I was attempting to replace WITH THE CAMEL was a fleece doggie shaped toy -also flat and with a squeekie (which my dog LOVES) -that is no longer made (used to get them at PetSmart a few years ago) and I don't recall the company who made them -they also made flat fleece pigs -but those were the BEST toys ever -and it is the only toy my dog will play with (although I have tried many, many different toys over the years) -SO, I'm really, really disappointed that this didn't work.

Best Deals for Ethical Fleece Flatties Stuffingless Dog Toy, 9-Inch
We bought a fleece toy (a "puppy" shaped fleece with leather ears) w/no stuffing at a popular farm supply store a few years ago and our little 15 pound house dog loves it. It's not much more that shreds now but he still likes it. We've tried the "chickens" and "raccoons" that are available and he shreds them immediately and eats the shreds. This one is better than those but the nap on this one is pretty fine, not as heavy as the first one. We're still looking for it but would buy this again if can't find it.Honest reviews on Ethical Fleece Flatties Stuffingless Dog Toy, 9-Inch
We have two rat terriers that love the fleece flatties. They carry this toy around and love to shake it. No stuffing = no mess. If your dog pulls the stuffing out of dog toys, this is the toy that you should try.Tuesday, October 14, 2014
Cheap Smokehouse 100-Percent Natural Meaty Porky Bone 8 Inch Dog Treats
These are a great price and seem to be a high-quality product. They have a very smoky scent and the dog seems to love the taste. However, the ends are chewed off pretty easily and leave a mouth-sized potential choking hazard. It really depends on whether your dog is simply a chewer or if they try and swallow things before they are broken up into smaller pieces. I definitely keep a close eye on my pet when I give her one of these.
Give your dog a real natural bone treat they are great for their teeth.
They will leave them around the house for several days, which is alright, because after they initially chew the flavor off, the bone stays dry and clean. They pick them up from time to time and chew for awhile. It keeps them busy, and is good for their teeth. Just try to not listen, it sounds like their teeth are breaking.
This is a great bargain.

These are good bones, and the dogs like them, but they have to stay outside. If you give one to your dog indoors, when the dog is done it will look like a buffalo exploded in the middle of your living room. I've bought other real bones before, which aren't nearly as cheap as these, and never had that problem.Best Deals for Smokehouse 100-Percent Natural Meaty Porky Bone 8 Inch Dog Treats
These are pretty good sized bones and my labs just loved them. There is some smoked meat left on the bone which was a real treat but what I really liked about them was the fully cooked bone was totally edible. One of my pups is a very agressive chewer and he still got several hours of enjoyment from one bone.Give your dog a real natural bone treat they are great for their teeth.

My three dogs all love these bones. My vet says that rawhide is not good for dogs. These are natural bones, which I normally pay twice the price for at the local pet shop. And they're ALOT cheaper than new shoes. They will leave them around the house for several days, which is alright, because after they initially chew the flavor off, the bone stays dry and clean. I purchased these bones for my two bullmastiffs. I thought they were like the other bones previously purchased, but these were brittle and splintered. After paying the $880 vet bill for the bone fragments in my bullmastiff puppy's stomach, I threw them away. I would not recommend them at all. My male bullmastiff chewed threw 1 bone in about five minutes. An expensive lesson.Monday, August 25, 2014

I purchased this stroller as I needed a bigger one now that I have rescued a second Shih Tzu. Both pups will fit in this stroller (11lbs & 13lbs) with no problem and each can curl up and sleep with no problem. The stroller arrived promptly and with no problems and the price paid was the least expensive for this stroller I could find online. Overall very pleased with my purchase!
The wheels are hard plastic, and I think they will wear out with time. I am researching to see if spare wheels are available.
The cup holder openings could be a bit bigger.
Overall, my dogs love it and I do too. I can see myself taking the dogs to more places and on longer walks, without them begging to be carried.
Glad I purchased. People we meet on our walks giggle, and then say it's a great idea. Well worth the money, arrived in 1 week.

This stroller looks incredibly elegant and cute and at the same time it is sturdy. Wheels really absorb the bumps on the road and make my beloved doggie's ride a pleasant one. Even my husband likes pushing this stroller and we've got compliments each time we've stepped out with it. Deffinitely recommend this product.Best Deals for Jogger -1st Class- Luxury (pet up to 45 lb).
My two small dogs love the jogger. Each dog weights 14 pounds. To fold and close, you need to unzip the separating zipper on the front window. When you open the stroller and go to zip up the window, it is difficult to line up both parts of the separating zipper. (just like a jacket). The stroller is roomy, and when I take it into stores everyone assumes I have a baby in there sleeping. I put each dog in a harness, and clip the harnesses to the straps on the inside of the stroller. They do not try to get out.The wheels are hard plastic, and I think they will wear out with time. great stroller. easy open/close. lots of room for my small guy. wish that the opening to the bottom basket was bigger without having to push the backseating portion of the stroller. also, petzip has to work on making the zipper easier AND not having to be dependent on the shade being in use. other than that, my baby is a happy camper, smooth rides and looking forward to going to the craft fairs this holiday season.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Jogger -1st Class- Luxury (pet up to 45 lb).
Prior to purchasing the Petzip stroller, we bought a Pet Gear and was very disappointed with the quality and design. This 1st class luxury pattern stroller is really well made and is easily assembled. The wheels are large so it rides very smoothly. The fabric can be easily removed for washing purposes. There is a holder which I use for cups, cell phone and flash lights. For safety, there are 2 straps which I use for my 2 dogs. The compartment is large enough for my 2 little poodles to ride comfortably. They are each about nine pounds. I really highly recommend this stroller.Thursday, July 24, 2014
Karen Pryor i-Click Dog Training Clicker Reviews

I got this set of 5 clickers so that I would haveonein every room in my 3-room apartment! Oh, I keep one in my pocket as well!
These clickers are the best because they are small and are not as harsh as larger ones. The larger ones are so loud that they scare my little 9-pound poodle, Dante. I know because I bought 3 of them at PetCo. So, if you ever need to buy a clicker, go for subtle over volume and a high-pitched sound as well. Too harsh for me and can scare your dog as well.
That being said, these little clickers (they are smaller than any others I have ever seen) are perfect in pitch as well as volume. I wasted a few dollars on the others and I hope that my own learning experience will help you to make a good decision the first time rather than the second or the third!
I begin training Dante with the clicker for any new behavior. Also, I have been able to reduce my use of the clicker with oral commands along with consistent body signals with my hand(s) or the position of my body relative to Dante. He's both fast as well as observant!
So, good luck . . .
1. The sound this clicker makes is very nice on both human and canine ears.
2. The raised button makes clicking on time (an essential part of clicker training) very easy.
3. They last through water, sand (although clicking can get a little rough), dirt, and hard play.
Although these clickers are a bit more expensive than the box type I would definitely buy these over other ones. Clickers will undoubtedly be the least expensive piece of training equipment you purchase (even these ones). Also you will use this clicker for years (I've had mine for 4 years) and so it pays to get one you love. It might be possible that since you spent a few more dollars on this one you will be a little more careful with it and try not to lose it.

I like these clickers especially inside the house as they are a little quieter than some. (I also own a Starmark clicker which is too loud inside) I purchased the 5 pack and chose the quietest one for use inside. Along with it being quieter, outside it is still loud enough unless there is a lot of background noise such as high wind or a stadium competition, but it would have to be fairly noisy since a trained dog is anticipating the click command. You really don't need a super loud clicker under most training routines. If your dog isn't responding to the click, you may need to reevaluate your training rountine or the dogs current abilities. But clickers are cheap and I own several to give me the right sound level for each circumstance. These clickers are reliable, easy to click, and click everytime, they feel good in the hand too. They do everything that is written in the mfg's descrption and do it well. Oh and they are super cheap too, a great buy!!!!Best Deals for Karen Pryor i-Click Dog Training Clicker
Great for cold hands and gloves. The button is raised so that you can squeeze it by making a fist, so that clumsy gloves are ok. No exposed plastic means that it's ok outdoors in winter. It's muffled, but my dog hears much better than I do, so he does respond to it from a distance.Honest reviews on Karen Pryor i-Click Dog Training Clicker

I have used a few kinds of clickers and I love these. They are quiet, and 'soft' to click. I can click in public without being noticably strange. I can switch between these and louder box clickers without effect on the animal. I occasionally still use box clickers for long-distance work, but only when it's windy anymore. Plus these are glove friendly, and easy to find if dropped. I also find sensitive animals like them better. My animals do 'seek' the click, and can hear it from a long distance, I have not been using my box clicker much anymore, my horses and dogs both react to this clicker (after getting used to the quieter noise) from a long distance without a problem. Love them!!! And they are best bought in bulk, I give them away and stash them all over the house and in all my coat pockets.Monday, December 30, 2013
Review of Hook On Coop Bowl 5 Ounce
A nice size for bunny treats and very durable.
I permanently attached the wire frame to the cage, to prevent spills. This was easy to do since the cup can be removed separately for washing.
Definitely recommended for animals that chew up plastic items.

Discount Tire Biter Paw Track with Rope Dog Toy in Black
After seeing on a dog show, dogs chewing on tire toys, we bought this toy for our 10 month old Rat Terrier. In spite of the terrible odor, we played tug with him and that was okay. Later we decided to let him chew it. In very little time, he had little pieces chewed off, so we took the toy away from him. Not long after that our puppy vomited. And since we are not as smart as our Rat Terrier, we played tug with him again the next day, and again let him chew it. And again our poor little puppy threw up. I would stay clear of this toy!!!! For your dog's sake. It is not a chew toy, and what dog doesn't chew!.

As I sit here with my exhausted dog on my lap, I must say that this is a dangerous toy. He's exhausted because he's been throwing up all day after ingesting a tiny piece of the tire that he chewed off in under 5 minutes. Of course I took the toy away right away, but he's been throwing up every few minutes since then. This dog is tiny with a very weak bite, cannot imagine what kind of a chunk a larger dog would be able to bite off and swallow.Best Deals for Tire Biter Paw Track with Rope Dog Toy in Black
After second day with toy, (and the tire ring bitten through) our 18 month old cavalier king charles (18lb) dog was throwing up on and off for about 3 hours. The amount of vomit was astounding, as we couldn't believe he had that much in his stomach. Not regular dog throw up (from eating or drinking too fast). After attacks, for the next hour he was gagging up bile. Poor little guy. He has been resting ever since. We think he will be fine, but DO NOT RECOMMEND TOY.Honest reviews on Tire Biter Paw Track with Rope Dog Toy in Black
I have a 25lb Corgi Pup who just turned 1, thinking that it'd be nice to get him a new chew toy, I went with the tire biter thinking that the rubber would survive his attacks of boredom, sadly after having him play with it for around a half an hour, he has already torn a good amount of the tire apart, and with the pieces being small, and easily edible, I do not think I will let him keep at it. I'd avoid this, go for a kongFind helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Tire Biter Paw Track with Rope Dog Toy in Black
Did not hold up to the pet monster's chew attacks. He chewed a huge hole through the rubber tire of this one and ate the rubber...not a good look. Threads are also coming loose and the toy has a moderate rubber odor. Not a one star because virtually all other toys (except the "ultimate dog bone"!) have been completely destroyed in a matter of minutes.Wednesday, December 11, 2013

I have a small dog, so she has the option of a pee-pee pad or the great outdoors; therefore, she is not 100% bell trained. However, when she does want to go outside, she does know to nose the bells. Wish I had thought of this with my previous dog who scratched at the door with her nails and caused light damage. The only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars is because I'd like to see an adjustable loop on the handle so I could adjust the size (if another dog gave the bells a good bat with a paw, it would slide off the door handle).

I wanted to train our new catahoula puppy to ring bells to indicate she wanted to go outside. I made some bells myself out of a leather strip. Ended up costing me more than these and the puppy destroyed the bells within a week. As soon as we put up the poochie bells, it was like a light came on. They are at a perfect height for her, they are sturdy, attractive, and within another week, Lucy was completely house trained. Of course, she does have a tendency to ring the bells ANYTIME she wants to go outside, but that's ok. It's not at all an obnoxious sound. I ordered another set for my bedroom door to make sure I hear her when she starts roaming free at night. Another plus is the looks on people's faces when they see your dog ring the bells.Best Deals for PoochieBells The Trusted Name in Dog Training Doorbells in Classic
These bells work exactly as they said. We had a puppy that was having a few accidents. We bought two sets, one for the front and back door of our house. He learned after about 4-5 days to ring the bells. He now rings them on his own to communicate to us that he needs to go potty. I even take a set with us when we go visit at my mother and father and he rings them there too. I would buy this product again and again!Honest reviews on PoochieBells The Trusted Name in Dog Training Doorbells in Classic
