Got a couple of these for the heating pad in a ceder outdoor cat shelter, and the neighborhood cats love them. Especially when it gets below freezing! If the cats love them, they must do the job. I recommend this and all K&H pet products that I've seen so far have been excellent.

My dog is pretty good at getting the strap on cover that comes with the heater off and dragging it around the yard. This cover stays in place and is quite a bit nicer than the cover that comes with the heater.
