For my dog it didn't make a difference. I tried it for one month and didn't notice an improvement. That said, I believe that the results would be different on a case by case basis because this same product in the cat version helped my cat.

This seemed to work very well. I also bought this in conjuction with whitefish chewables for dogs. His itching was reduced significantly within a week and is now just regular old dog scratching.

This product has really helped my poor pooch. He was really ITCHY, plus he had hives all over his stomach, he was driving me nuts with all the scratching. I give this product to him twice a day with his food by the half capful, which has a marking (a white circle) on the inside of the cap. He is alot calmer now, he sleeps better at night and so do I!!! This product is so much better to give my pooch instead of steroids or Benadril all the time (been there and done that with my last pooch). Amazon has the best price on this product, I should know, I first got it at Only Natural Pet and paid twice as much, plus shipping!!! OUCH!!! I have recommended this to my friends and family. I had some hope that this product would help my Golden retriever's 'summer skin' issues, but it did absolutely nothing. I am about 3/4 through the bottle and at this point, I figure if it hasn't worked yet, it isn't going to. My dog's issues are definitely heat related. He gets flaky, scaly and small (pimple sized) bumps/scabs every summer and he is more 'smelly' during the summer than in the cooler months. He scratches a bit, but not excessively. He does not get hot spots. The only thing that keeps this somewhat under control is regular bathing. I had hoped this stuff would help at least a little and sadly there has been absolutely no change whatsoever. Once the fall comes and temperatures cool down, his skin miraculously clears up...no more flakes/bumps/scabs and NO odor. He is almost 8 years old and has had this issue since he was 8 weeks old. At this point, after having tried everything under the sun, I think I give up.
