At first my puppy was terrified of it and then we saw her starting to push it around. When it spoke, we let her outside and that was all she needed.

Took my dog about a month and 1/2 to learn this. He now does not use it now he barks at the door so I know now he needs to go out.
I have not complaints because this dog I have was found abandoned and abuse.

This button is a good idea but my dog (who is not weak) is not making the connection to push on the button and I'm not sure how to make that happen. He has pushed it twice by accident because I smeared it with a food smell but he doesn't know he has to push down on it to make that happen and get a treat. As far as outdoors....that connection is not at all being made. And, we do this routine everytime before he goes out to relive himself. I think it will work in the end because I do think he will eventually make the connection and we have moved beyond his fear of the button, but we'll see.
