Ordered two these about a month ago and used for the first time yesterday.
They take seconds to install on the bike and have plenty of room for our toy Australian Shepards. After running around for about an hour, we took them for a ride and they loved it. I would recommend a harness on the dogs instead of a collar. The smaller aussie is very agile and managed to climb on top of the basket. If she had leapt or fallen before I got her back inside, she would have been hanging by her neck. Other than that they both seemed very comfortable after a few minutes and curious about everything around them that they could now see from above. The basket has a padded bottom and the basket retains it's shape well (no collapsing). It does however, collapse easily for nearly flat storage. Being in an RV we love that since space is limited.
Downside-they are VERY PRICEY in my opinion. With the materials and construction, though very good, I believe the product is overpriced and the company is taking advantage of the fact that something like this is hard to find. It would be nice if they advertised a little and went for profit by volume so more people could afford it.

I have a hybrid bike and the bottom of the basket did not clear the front tire. I can only adjust the handlebar so high so it didn't work out. It did, however, fit well with some adjusting of the brake lines on my mountain bike which has a higher handlebar. The basket is 9 inches tall so make sure you measure how high your handlebar is from the front tire. It was a little harder to steer the bike with the added weight. My dog moved side to side when I steer. She is a 9 lb Shih Tzu and fit comfortably inside the basket. The basket did not sag at the bottom because it has a metal reinforcement that sat against the fork of the bike. I ended up getting the Topeak rear basket instead so it doesn't interfere with steering and it can support my dog's adult weight (15 lbs) better.Best Deals for Snoozer Bike BasketTM
It works well, but is not perfect.I have a 14 lb poodle mix, so she is pushing the size limitations. The extra weight on the handlebars makes it a bit harder to ride especially if the dog wiggles, but it is manageable if you go slower.
The downsides:
1. The way the straps are designed it is a bit hard to get my dog in and out of the basket
2. The width makes it harder to access my brake levers (I have a small mountain bike, so this may be better on other bikes).
The upsides:
1. It is easy to install
2. My dog seems to like it
3. Now I can take her with me when riding!
Overall, I'd recommend it, but ride carefully!

My dog is about 15 lbs and fits snug in this basket, but has a blast going for bike rides with me! He enjoys that he can come with me on rides. Easy to set up...takes about 2 mins. Supports any bike for installation and holds up well with all the weight. suggested for dogs that are not high-energy and 15lbs or less.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Snoozer Bike BasketTM
I've looked at about four or five different styles of dog baskets and this one has a better-looking design than most others. That of course is my opinion because I have a big, rugged mountain bike. I was looking for a bike basket that was a little less girlie and this one works out. I also like that the Snoozer Sporty has side pockets and two zipper pockets in the front. The black rain cover with the hole for your dog to poke its head out of really doesn't matter to me. My dog doesn't like it. It probably makes him feel too constrained. At first my dog disliked being in the basket (it's a good thing it comes with a short leash to attach either to your dog's harness or collar, just make sure there's not a lot of slack or your doggie will end up hanging should he/she jump out!) but it actually only took a short while for my dog to get used to being in the basket. Within an hour or two of first getting the basket I took my dog out for a ride around the block and he seemed to enjoy it. Every dog has its own personality so it may take longer for some dogs to get comfortable with riding in the basket. I started out by placing my dog in the basket while it was on the floor in my room. Then when he felt comfortable and stopped trying to hop out, I carried him around the house in the basket and ultimately mounted the basket on my bike and we enjoy bike rides to the park together quite often now.
Like the previous reviewer mentioned, make sure your dog isn't too big; I can't stress that enough. I have an 11 pound poodle mix and it fits him just right. Larger breeds will probably not be comfortable in this basket, smaller breeds will fit better than my dog. I ride pretty fast and my dog loves it. That said, I would NOT recommend using this basket while riding over really rough or excessively bumpy areas. My main gripe is I wish this dang thing came in more colors!! That and the price is kind of steep... but considering all the other dog baskets out there are about the same price or more expensive, I'd say the Snoozer Sporty is the way to go.
