Excellent crate size for a growing English Mastiff. However, the latches are not as strong as the Midwest 48" crate we used to have. The wire seems thinner...not what most people want with a giant breed. Our puppy has been crate trained since we brought him home so we haven't had issue with him trying to get out but I think a very determined large dog could do some damage to this crate.

The crate pan is the most disappointing. It was bent from the shipping (FedEx) and very flimsy. Even with a good solid crate pad, the sound of the metal is enough to annoy both our puppy and us. I would recommend ordering a plastic crate pan if you order this crate.

The shipping was FAST too, which was nice. Overall, 54" crates aren't easy to find so this is a good option but I wouldn't recommend getting if you have dog that is determined to get out of it.

Kennel was received in time and easy to set up. It is kind of flimsy and I had to toss the bottom right away because it cracked and therefore the dog started to eat it.

The overall design isn't that great, I've owned much better cages. Very flimsy so it won't take much abuse from a rowdy animal. Fortunately, my dog is quite docile and that won't be an issue. As well, the tray is able to be pulled out like a drawer from the cage but its hold clip that is meant to prevent it from sliding out accidentally while an animal is in the cage was installed backwards!

I would recommend this product but it would be conditional upon the particular animal it is to be used for.

We have a boxer pup and purchased this while he was like 9 weeks old. He's 9 months old now and he still has room in here! If he gets much taller he wont, but this "bed" had done its job wonderfully. Everything is still in tact and working perfectly despite a puppy and two children under 3 banging it up!

This is a high quality wired crate. It folds up easily and is easy to assemble as well. The hinges on the door "locks" are made so that there isn't any way your dog can get out. The divider panel that it comes with is a huge plus and saved me the time and money of buying different sized crates as my Golden pup grows.
