I own four of these and my cats love them. They go anywhere and stay put where they are placed. The cats prefer them to any other surface in the house, which keeps cat hair on furniture to a minimum. They're washable so it's a win all around. Highly recommend.

I did my research before I chose this bed, and i'm very pleased with my choice. I have just received this bed for my newly adopted rescue dog. She is little, a mix of dachshund and chihuahua ): she likes to both stretch and curl. When she stretches it seems to be the perfect size for her. When I received the bed, she went on it right away, and accepted it as her new place immediately. It is also nice that unlike some cheaper models this bed doesn't shed. I love it.

One week later: I'm changing a 5-star review to a 4-star. This bed does shed. It is not very bad, so I'll still keep it because my dog likes ot so much

My dog loves the bed. It fit perfectly into her crate and looks very comfortable. The top is fleecy Sherpa and the bottom is quilted for stability. I've heard no complaints from the pooch.

The picture of the bed with the beagle on it is a little deceiving. That beagle must've been a puppy.

The actual measurements of this bed per the tag on the item states the bed is 17 3/4" x 11 3/4". I know it's just 1/4" but it makes a difference. It seems to be a sturdy bed that my Lhasa Apso will like. Hopefully, it's not TOO small for him. He likes to curl up in a ball and sleep sometimes. The bumper edges are pretty firm which is nice. He likes to rest his head on pillows when he sleeps so it will do nicely. I'll add pictures of my dog in the bed later along with pictures of the bed with a tape measure so you can see the actual size of the bed.

For this price, I could've bought a bigger similar bed at the Navy Exchange.

I have a small SUV and needed something for my dog to use when going for a ride. The back seat is like 2 bucket seats so I used wedge pillows to level out the seat and then this over them. My dog likes to have something to lean against so this works out very well. He actually slept on our last 10 hour drive!
