Its warm, its waterproof but it doesn't stay on my active dog. I would suggest putting a hook on the front closure or making the Velcro heavier and longer. l just took 5 minutes and stitched a hook on the front closure ( the belly works fine) and we are good to go. Very easy to put on and Rambo thinks he looks cool in it.

great coat keeps my dog toasty but beware i would recommend to get one size bigger than using the chart given. coat is very snug on my dog at at times detaches when he walks! But great coat!
