My two "adopted" feral cats love this house. I put a little rug inside to help keep them warm and they immediately accepted this as their own little hideaway. Although we feed them, they are too wild to live indoors, so I am happy to know that they have some protection against our strong winds and sometimes freezing weather here in Julian

this product was everything and more . I called the maker for some advice about the heating pad and they were more then helpful . The cat outside that we bought it for loves it and I like the size, it's very "BIG" so they have a lot of room.

I purchased two of these cat houses for a pair of sisters who don't share very well; the cat house construction itself is sturdy enough. The warming pads were seriously lacking. I had read reviews about them not heating or only heating a little & they are true; of the two that I purchased, one didn't work at all and the other barley got warm. I was willing to fork over a few extra dollars for a heating pad that came with the house construction & one that was built for outdoor use but that feature failed. This is the first cold night in my area & I've brought my pets in for safety given these failed functions; the house itself is a good buy, but don't bother paying extra for the heated feature.
