i am installing this on my back door for two large breed dogs. black lab and mixed with bull mastiff. they will like it. and needed sturdy one that wont break on a first month.

love love love this!!!! it really works great and slides nice!! it is thick but not heavy. I did make a hole in it and put a rope on it so it is easy to pull up.

The hole I had to make is huge and its a safety issuer for me. I managed to put a locking mechanism and it makes a loud noise, but we got used to it. Its well built and now we like knowing when my dog goes in and out with the sound it makes.

Good Product. Very Heavy Duty, should last forever. Took the dogs about 1-3 weeks to get used to it. Yorkie still can't open it, no problem for Pug or Beagle though. For function I'd rate it a 5. However, springs are just too heavy duty and not adjustable. If they were adjustable or you could take one off, (then my yorkie could use it also), I'd rate a 5, but since it's not adjustable, tops out at 4. If you buy the door, also buy the sliding panel. It's very useful when you want to lock the dogs out back.
