It's been one week since I used this product and NO FLEAS!

I tried less expensive products available in local stores and they did not work for more than a day or two at best. Most likely, because they did not kill the eggs or larva.

If you are reading this review you may already know that fleas have a 4-stage life cycle Eggs, larva, pupa, flea. Many products kill the fleas only, which is a complete waste of your time and money. You MUST use a product with an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) or they will continue to hatch and lay more eggs.

When using this product, I followed the directions and moved furniture, vacuumed like a mad woman and sprayed under couches before moving them back into position. It was a grueling day but it seems it was well worth it. For the price of one can, it looks like I may have finally rid my home of the nasty little suckers.

If things change in the next week or two, I'll post an update. But for now, it's looking very good. Yay!

********UPDATE***********

It's been 3 weeks and NOT ONE FLEA! They are GONE. GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!

Having fleas break into the sanctuary of my home was quite a frustrating experience. We use Frontline Plus for Dogs Weigh 89-132 lbs 3 Applic on our dogs, and our indoor only cats have generally been able to avoid any treatment. That is until we must have went too long between doses, as our dogs had fleas, our cats had fleas, and our home had fleas. Frontline for both the dogs and cats didn't seem to do the trick like I'd hoped, and I knew we needed to treat the home and the dogs topically. Alas foggers weren't an option. I had tried Zodiac Carpet & Upholstery Aerosol Spray, 8 oz on our carpets and in pet beds, but it only kills living fleas (not eggs), and that in combination with the Frontline didn't do the trick. It probably didn't help that I was using a similarly ineffective Zodiac Flea & Tick Spray for Dogs, Cats, Puppies & Kittens, 16 oz on our pets (to hasten the flea eradication). Eventually I did more research on Precor and its ability to kill eggs and living fleas, and I gave this and Petcor Flea Spray -16 Oz. a try, and they've done the trick! We're still using Frontline, and hopefully we won't need to resort to topical sprays ever again, but if we do, we'll know where to turn!

This product is truly great! I bought a case of 6 cars from an outside vendor because it it basically came out to 11 bucks per can or something like that. It is well worth the money. Raid, and other store bought products do not work. I used to use Demize Nylar spray, which is also an excellent product with IGR, but they discontinued it. I ordered this instead and I have only good things to say about it. It is just as effective at killing fleas and keeping them away, but is even less noxious than the demize spray. it smells kind of like wd-40. I am not sure why, but I will take that over the peppery type smell that the demize had. It dries nice, doesn't stain anything, doesn't leave terrible odors behind, and I would say it is relatively cheap for the flea fighting power you are getting. Anyone that has dealt with flea infestations knows it is worth almost any amount of money to get rid of them. The Precor is reasonable in price for the results.

I usually get a case of 6 at a time and spray my house down in fall and spring each year. The IGR prevents flea eggs from hatching and gives 7 month coverage so it is worth it to me to do the whole house twice a year. then I never have to worry about a stray flea laying a million eggs at some point and my house getting infested again. It only kills adult fleas for 2 weeks, but if you see a flea here and there during the year, that is all you will see. Nothing will come of it if you keep your house treated. the spray doesn't bother the cats or the kids and I have seen no ill effects from using it. I lock the cats outside and spray while the kids are in school. Once the spray dries, you don't even know it is there. I am very sensitive to chemicals like bleach and febreze, as well as paint fumes, furniture polish, and things like that, and I never have sinus or respiratory issues after I use this product.

So take it from a long term user of this and similar products, you can't go wrong with a flea spray with IGR in it. you will never go back. It makes life with indoor/outdoor animals very easy.

Honest reviews on Zoecon Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray, 16 oz.

I dusted with ecoexempt and boric acid to kill the flea eggs and larvae, then used this to kill the adult fleas infesting my house. It worked perfectly! No fleas for about a week. I know nothing kills fleas in the pupa stage, and expected them to hatch in about a week. Sure enough, they came back. I purchased another bottle and sprayed the house again with this, and while there are fewer fleas, they are still here. I'm going to dust again and will buy one more bottle of this. If it doesn't work, I will contact the company.

When I saw my exterminator using this product to treat a flea infestation this spring (2011), he gave my my bill which also named this product, charged me $125 for service. Immediately upon him leaving, I went to Amazon, and found the product at a reasonable price from one of the marketplace vendors. Now I can point the can upside down myself, when needed, sweep back and forth throughout the house and save myself about $100 per treatment.
