I bought the kennel to keep one of my dogs in at nigh,t but the first night I used this kenne,l my dog broke out of it. It is made of very thin wire. My dog has been kept in a kennel since birth, so I was surprised how easily he was able to get out of this kennel. Again size was good but quality including bottom which also broke right away was not.

ok for the money but the cage is too weak for the size. it is made for large dogs but a hyper dog can easily damage cage. also lock can be easily opened by dog (mine anyway) i have to put extra lock on each latch or dog will get out of cage. but for the money this can't be touched.Best Deals for Remington Wire Kennel, Black

This cage is definitely worth the $...the latches to lock the gate are a little aggravating , they don't slide closed very easily but all the cages may not be that way. My dog does not like cages we adopted her and she was left in a cage all the time from the people that had her. She just had surgery and we had to cage her so I bought this cage and a few other items and started to feed her in it and she started to go in by herself. Plenty big enough for a 79lb. dog. The plastic tray in my large kennel was tissue thin. Within weeks it began to crack and within a few months was in shreds. The problem appears to be the composition of the plastic. It is not at all flexible, very brittle and fragile.Don't buy this unless your intend to replace the tray within a few months.
