I was a bit skeptical about how long this thing would last but to my surprise after 3 months it is still as good as it was the first day. I have three dogs ranging from 12 lbs to 50 lbs and they all enjoy playing/chewing on it and it has done what I bought it to do.

The fact that it has no stuffing but an empty water bottle inside just makes it easy to replace if it ever wears out (so far the first bottle has held up). If there is any downside I guess it is the fact that coming through a dark room and stepping on the thing is a bit bothersome since it does not collapse like a stuff toy does and it tends to make a loud crunch (like crushing a water bottle, who would have guessed) which tends to wake up any sleeping dogs who then in turn wake up any sleeping humans.

I now have two of them and will probably get more whenever these two wear out. I am sure if you turn your 75lb man-eater loose on the toy it is not gonna last long but for my brood it has done exceptionally well in comparison with other toys.

These stuffingless toys are great, and the price here is on par with local stores. This particular toy is no exception. I have a herding dog who loves to chew, and he gets excited every time he sees (and smells) one of these new toys come into the house. About every six months I get another one, having tried 5 or 6 in the last few years. All are about the same the squeakers will be eviscerated within hours, so supervise closely at first to make sure they don't get eaten. Although the company sells replacement squeakers, I see no point my dog has just as much fun running around with this thing without the squeaker.

The last one we had was a raccoon, and even when it was just down to about half a tail (the rest having been torn off and gradually thrown away by me as they were discarded by him), he loved it. He would grab onto it and still try to play tug of war, and still loves to have it thrown. These are pretty lightweight and can't be thrown more than about ten feet, but my dog doesn't care. Highly recommended if for nothing else but the fact that you don't have to clean up stuffing all day.
