Had a stray cat recently adopt my family. Since my hubby & daughter are violently allergic, we don't let him in the house. I wanted him to have something to call "home" so we bought this for him. He took to it right away. His cat bed fits easily inside and he has plenty of room & privacy. Does not keep the elements out that well but it's better than nothing. There is a mesh opening attached to the front by way of a zipper. All in all, satisfied with this purchase that did not cost that much. *WARNING* Be very careful when opening as it "exploded" and startled everyone in the room!

My Kitty had another type of tent and destroyed it by playing, this one is made a little tougher and stronger, he likes to take his toys inside it and play, I don't close him up in it so the mesh front is not necessary for me and I feel a cat could easily claw their way out of the mesh. As long as he has fun and he is not messing with other things he isn't supposed to I am happy. He is still a young kitten and hasn't learned many manners yet like staying off the table and curtains.

Okay, I know I'm going to sound like an idiot, but I don't want anyone else to have this experience. This thing practically EXPLODES out of the little nylon case. It doesn't just "pop up" like sun visors it's downright violent. When I took mine out it popped open and hit me in the face. I look like someone punched me in the nose, no joke.

Otherwise, it's pretty much what I expected a flimsy little tent that's good for a small dog or cat. I bought this for my older terrier. He's deaf and likes to sleep in small spaces where he feels safe. It's great for that. I'm giving it two stars because it's dangerous to unfurl.
