I bought this in hopes that my 1 year old Golden wouldn't be able to destroy it. It lasted, maybe, five minutes. He was able to sever the rope from the ball immediately & chewed off pieces that could have choked him. It was a good toy, but not for a serious chewer.

Toy fell apart after a few plays. It then turned into a really long tug of war rope. Need to be more durable.

Even though I bought this toy as a toss and fetch toy, not to be left with my 9 month old Springer without supervision, she chewed through the poly/cotton rope after the third throw. Great design but not the right type of material for dog toys!

So, I bought this for my Great Dane, not thinking anything of the large ball on the end. While it is one of his favorite toys to play with, be prepared to get smacked with the ball end. It does hurt a bit haha. He swings it around and lets it fly, then chases it down. It definitely keeps him occupied and happy though!

Any toy that lasts 2 months is a 5 star toy to me. My Great Dane loves this thing. Now he has totally unraveled the rope and some of the rope from the ball, but I've just been cutting off the bad as he does it. I know I'll have to throw it away soon, but it was still worth the money for the enjoyment he's gotten out of it.
