I purchased this throw with the sole intent of covering my couch and preventing "accidents". While the throw looks nice and is soft, it is NOT waterproof as advertised. I placed a small amount of water on it when I became suspicious that it really wasn't waterproof and sure enough, the water soaked completely through when placed on top of the throw. I even placed water on the rubber backing and it soaked through on that side as well. The reason it leaks is the decorative stitching on the throw. The stitches create small holes and liquid can seep through them.

So in summary, if you want a nice throw for your pet that is soft, warm, and comfortable, this is a good product (which is why I'm giving it 3 stars). However, if you are purchasing it with the goal to prevent liquids from getting onto your couch, this is definitely not the product to purchase.

I looked at dozens of websites trying to find the perfect dog blanket for my couch. Most weren't that attractive, many were too small, and many had reviews saying that they slipped off the couch. This blanket is a little more expensive than some others I saw, but I'd rather spend an extra $30 for an attractive and functional blanket vs. being unhappy with a cheaper product.

I ordered this pet blanket in Medium and I'm VERY happy with it so far. The quilted velvet in khaki is a nice, neutral color, but the embossed paw prints are a subtle way of telling guests that this is a dog blanket and not a people blanket. The non-skid backing on the blanket keeps it from slipping off the couch.

The medium size is perfect for my small, armless loveseat. It fully covers the back of the sofa and the seat of the sofa, with a little extra hanging off the front. It's a good size for my 70lbs boxer he is sprawled out on it right now sleeping and loving life! When lying down, he uses up about 75% of the blanket, so there is some extra room for him to change positions while staying on the blanket and off my couch.

Very happy with product so far. Additionally, shipping was very fast I ordered regular shipping (I think on a Sunday night?) and I had it by that Friday afternoon.

I bought this for our leather couch, but its really slippery and moves around too much. It's also slippery on our hardwood floor. There isn't any grip at all on this. It is incredibly thin, no cushion at all. It does look nice, though.

very sturdy, yet folds easily, washes well and is very soft. We took it on a road trip and it kept the seats from accumulating too much dog hair in the RV. I've bought a second one to lay across the top of the couch now for where the cats love to curl up voila!

I got the largest there was. And I do not have large couch just normal. I also could not get it to stay up so ended up folding it and just using it on the bottom. I even bought cords that u use on a mattress sheets and that would not hold it in place either. But otherwise It is OK
