Cheap Petmate Barnhome III Door

This door is well made and does the job, but the metal attachments that come with it are junk. Toss them when you get them, and go to a hardware store and buy some 1" key rings or something of that nature. They make take a bit longer to attach, but they'll hold the door in place. The hooks that came with it simply do not work, and when I used them, every time my dog went in or out they'd come detached and the door would be hanging askew. Other than that problem, this is a good product.

This petmate door is used on an outside cat house. The cats appreciate the shelter, and I'm happy knowing that they can escape from the rain. At first they didn't like the fact that "something" was touching them. It was funny to watch because it took them a while to make the decision to go through the plastic door to get to their food, but they slowly got over it.

Works well to keep rain & wind out. Wasn't hard to install, I did bend the hooks closed. Would purchase again. Price was great!

Even though the manufactured design is s-hooks through plastic holes in the box, this can be modified with small zip ties or even small bolts with washers. Very helpful in keeping the animal warm one they get over the feel on their face as they press through.

The door flaps are fine but as someone in an earlier review stated, the s hooks are week n fall off. Must keep pressing them with pliors, which isn't all that easy so it is best to get better s hooks or orther rings.
