Mind you that this is my first review in 10+ years of using Amazon. I'm usually not one to do reviews. But, in this instance... I must say, buyer beware. We were stoked to finally find a dog crate that would actually look good in our living room.

Delivery day... package was a little beat up. Took it out of the packaging... we thought it was going to be wood nope, cheap plastic. This made me think... wonder if it will actually stand up over time? Assembly... simple the one good thing about this product.

Then, the first use. We put our dog Tess in it when we left for a few hours. Mind you this was a medium sized crate and our dog had more than enough room. When we returned a few hours later... Tess came to greet us at the door. Hmmm, why was she out of the crate? Was the lock defective? Did we leave it unlocked... nope, nope. We walked into our living room to see three of the five bars broken. One snapped out of the frame and the two others were snapped in half.

I cannot believe this product exists. Stay away. Stay far, far away. Unsafe for your pet and for your home. I'll try to upload a picture separately so you all can see the result of the first use, first hand.

This crate is ideal for someone who likes to keep their home design continuous. The crate blends perfectly with almost any decor I have a blend of white oak plantation style furnature and american mission style and this fits in seamlessly. The inside of the crate was much bigger than I thought it would be and my dog likes that the walls are very open between the spindals. She can see the whole room from inside her little safety zone. I easily fit her medium size dog bed and fleece blanket inside.

Assembly was easy. Product looks ok. Not sturdy. First time using crate, we left the house for less than an hour, and our 50 lb. lab pushed through the door. Also check out the reviews for the medium sized version of this crate: New Age Pet Habitat 'n Home InnPlace Crate/Table, Medium. A customer there had their crate break in the same place as mine. Also on their very first time using it.

Sadly my dog lasted about 20 minutes in the crate before he chewed his way out.

The plastic is not very sturdy, and is much less dense then Nylabones.

He chewed one of the "bars" in the door in half.

Its a 4lb chihuahua so that's saying something.

It is also not even close to looking like wood (not sure if it suppose to.

It is easy to assemble. If you have puppies or a dog that even sometimes like to chew, go with something else.

Well it was really three days, but only two 3 hour stays in the now broken pet crate/table. No problems with the first stay of our 75 lb lab. However the second stay he took it apart vertical slat by vertical slat. Product description says up to 100lbs for the large crate. I wouldn't go larger than a 50lb dog.
