This thing is not made well. The handle broke after 2 days, the plastic is thin and cheap and is a complete waste of money. I'd look into something else if you want something that you won't have to replace multiple times.

This thing is great. It's so easy to use. It wasn't difficult developing a technique for picking stuff up on grass. It's more difficult on cement and aggregate, depending on the texture of the stuff, but it seemed no less efficient than the rake systems. With four to six daily uses, I went through three of these claws in a year. With it I could pick up endless small dog deposits or one honkin pile of extra-big dog debris. If it lasted longer, I'd give it five stars. As it is, I gave up on this convenient little tool and picked up a nearly indestructible one piece scoop with no moving parts.

After three failures, I wouldn't waste any more of my money on this, but I sure did like it.

Cheap, easy to use, BUT you have to glue on the washers (as someone else stated). We lost ours, unfortunately.

how can life get any better!

Now there are some detailed tips you should know: This is meant for hard poop and doesn't work on hard surfaces, like patios, etc.

It does come with a hook to which you can attach a bag and attempt to directly drop poop into the bag. But I just take it straight to the waste bin.

Best purchase of 2011.

Have had this product a few months now and it has worked just fine. It is hard to use in tall grass but besides that it works great! I would recommend this product.
