This dog toy is great for larger dogs and has a very sturdy neck and body. As soon as I took it out of the box and cut the tags off it was in play. I like the firmer neck and head b/c it is easier to throw for the dog and if he chews on the head part it isn't going to come off and expose the squeaking mechanism.

I actually use this with my cat, because he loves to hold things and kick them with his back feet. He tears this up every day, but it holds together well. He hasn't been able to destroy it yet. Besides which, the occasional honking when he squeezes it hard makes him go nuts.

Our Golden, Maggie, has had one of these geeses for years. Santa brought the first one to her. She is never without it. It's nice to have a second one for the time she "misplaces" the original one.
