It's pretty basic. The dog will eat this, which is more than I can say for all those so-called premium vitameatascience brands. Put Alpo in his bowl and he'll gobble it up. It also gives him gas. We've seen this over several instances, having fed the dog several cans of these Alpo Chop House foods. Most recently, just yesterday we had company over. The dog wanders into the middle of the living room, lets one go and leaves us to turn on the ceiling fan to clear out the room. You know how the cat box can fumigate half the house on a bad day if the cat doesn't thoroughly bury it? Pfewwww. Al Gore is going add our dog to the list of cows responsible for global warming. I'm grateful my buddy will eat this but this was probably designed for outdoor dogs.
