The wood chuck is a great toy for dogs who love to run and play. It throws the ball quite far, far enough that sometimes my dogs can't find it. Another reviewer mentioned the ball doesn't go very far but they must not be using it right, because once you get the motion down the ball flies. I love the fact that this toy is eco-friendly and made out of wood instead of cheap plastic. Very durable and the handle has a nice grip. It's also great for avoiding touching slobbery balls with your hands! Would absolutely recommend to any dog owner.

Just received my wood chuck with ball today--Amazon Prime shipping was great (got it 2 days after I ordered it)!

I absolutely love the eco-friendly aspects of this item--it's made from sustainably harvested bamboo, recycled cork scraps, and a rubber ball (not sure if it's recycled, but definitely recyclable).

My Rottweiler splits the other brand's balls really fast. These show no signs of breaking even though it has been over a month, and she chews on them constantly.

It has now been at least six months and the original ball and the many extra balls I have gotten for her are still in perfect condition. They have a glowing ball that is great for playing at night, and one that looks like it is made out of metal. The metalliclooking one in too big for the woodchuck thrower, but it fits perfectly in the bigger size 'Chuck it' brand thrower.

I also forgot to mention that all the balls make this whistling sound as you throw them that seems to make my dog love them even more. Can't say enough good things about this product.

My 4 yr old received this in his stocking for Xmas to play with our energetic lab. They both love it and I do too. Can launch balls over the house! Great way to get her exercise in in the am. We lost the ball in the first week and now use Planet Dog's glow in the dark whistle ball instead. Works great for keeping track of where the ball goes.
