Despite the product information stating that this has sunscreen it doesn't. I bought it because I knew my dog would be spending a lot of time in the sun. She has a white coat and pink skin so I have to be careful. I applied this to her snout everyday. After watching her snout get pinker, I took her to a vet and was told that this product had not sunscreen and because it had oils in it, was having the opposite effect of protecting her nose!
So, maybe a great product for a dry nose in winter, but definitely not a summer product. Be careful!

Does what it is intended for & would defiantely recommend! Got this for my sisters 13 year old cocker spaniel because her nose was severly dry & my sister said it definately helpped!

We have a collie who has lost pigment in her nose and is no sensitive to the sun. Her nose was getting very dry and cracked, but with the Snoutstik her nose is smooth again.
