Easy to assemble and looks nice. But not really as big as I thought. My dog just fits and she is not 100 pounds. I do not think the base would support 160 pounds either. It's not solid enough.

Received the first delivery and set about putting together the dog house, came to realize that they were broken parts within the package.

Couldn't assemble so called Amazon and a replacement was sent out. Received second delivery and all looked good. Once again the board had broken pieces inside, but not as bad as the original order. Used some Super-glue and all was saved. This is a sound product and keep dry . Add the Flap and my dogs were very happy with it. No Leaks and very airy, the bottom corners have small opening to allow ventilation.

I was extremely disappointed with the build quality of this item. Specifically, "out of the box",

The trim on the roof was broken and completely sheared off on one side,

We had to bend a number of the connector pins to get them to fit property and the end result was a structure that wasn't very robust / stable.

The box was delivered intact without any signs of damage, dents or bruises. That said, I can only assume the build quality is cheap to begin with since it does not appear as if these problems were in any way associated with the courier.

I would NOT recommend this item to others based on my experience.

Honest reviews on New Age Pet All Weather Dog House

I bought this doghouse in Sept 2010, and we had alot of snow this winter. What's nice abvout it, is it can be dismantled to store back indoors for when the weather gets to be too much for the dogs. I wanted this doghouse for my 2 dogs to have shelter from rain and light snow.

From the moment I put it together, I questioned how sturdy it could be. The way it connects feels flimsy. I like it's dimensions and look, but sturdier materials along with more robust hinge/connectors would have made this perfect. It's just too weak to be holding 250 lb dogs...and it's supposed to be rated for 160 lbs?!?!

It is now March 2011, and this product has come apart in places it's not supposed to. One of the clips that hold the roof ( there are 4 of them). I can't even describe how cheaply put together this is. I give it 3 stars because it looks nice, but then what good is that when you have to replace it with a different product? So I can only give it 2. I wish it were alot stronger, but looked the same.

Purchased this product and after two calls to New Age for replacement parts the dog house will still not assemble properly. The design is inferior with China manufacturing. The walls are thin, brittle and exterior paint scratches easily. I do not believe the product would hold up to the weather without painting and sealing the exterior. The interior dimensions are small and my Labrador could not turn around inside the XL house. Save yourself the headache and your dog's disatisfaction and buy another house!
