It's just the right size for my border collie. It looks quite nice as part of the decor, and it works just dandy. Really like the rubber on the bottom. It's nice and quiet, and stays where I put it, as opposed to the stainless bowl that would skitter all over the kitchen as the dog tried to clean it, making a terrible noise. If you think you like this buy it. You won't be sorry.
