Nice product but not for bigger cats.

My cat is about 17lbs and wouldn't fit through the hole. Probably a really nice hideaway bed for smaller cats.

The other thing I wish I had known before I ordered it is that the floor part (ie the part your cat sleeps on) is very thin. Just very thin fabric bottom, no cushion at all.

Other than that, the bed seems durable, cute, and is of a soft plushy material (other than the bottom part).

Amazon was very prompt and refunded with no hassle.

My cat is so happy with this product. From the moment I got it out of the box, she has spent most of her sleeping time in the kitty cabin. She has hypothyroidism and diabetes so she loves the warmth. I have never cared enough about a product to write a review before but this product has provided so much comfort for my cat that I was compelled to write.

My arthritic 17 year old cat loves this bed. She's slept in it every day since I got it a month ago. The heating works as advertised -only slightly warm until you press down on it.

The "removable cover" is a little misleading. It just means that you can take the heating pad out of the bed. The cover does not come off the cushioning.

The images do not show it, but the opening is on both the front and back.

Do not buy this for very large cats. The diameter of the opening is only 5 1/2 inches. I have 2 males who weigh in at about 18lbs, and they definitely would not be able to fit through the opening. It is perfect for my 8 lb cat, but I would have doubts for cats 12 lbs and up.

If you have a cat that always seems to find the paper bag to hide in, or you need to provide a some 'element' protection for that cat on your covered porch (like I do), then this product will work. The advertised heat is pretty minimal, so don't expect it to feel warm to the touch, but I guess anything is better than nothing. It's a cute shape and after a while those cats that like small enclosed places will use it, although it could take a little while and encouragement (put a small food dish in it for a while).

Have two cats, the small (7lbs), shorthair who suffers when it is cold loves it. Sticks her head out and tries to coax us into letting her "eat in bed". The larger cat (14lbs) with a great heavy coat checked it out and hasn't been in since. Ergo small kitty has two houses.
