I ordered two of these to block my dogs out of the dining room. My dining room entry is over 6 feet wide, and two of these worked perfectly (they are not straight across but they fold out nicely together to create the illusion that it is all one connected piece). Previous to receiving them, I was going to bracket them togetherbut there was no need as they stand up easily on their own. They are light-weight, which makes them easy to move and fold up if need be (like when we have company). AlthoughI have left them up and received compliments about how nice the gate is. They are a dark mahogany/cherry color and they match my dining room furniture set perfectly. They also have a cedar smell to them, which was a nice surprise. My small dogs (one is 6 lbs. the other is 23 lbs) do not knock them over, and I have not had any accidents in the dining room! SUCCESS! I would not recommend for rambunctious dogs that jump over gates or knock things over. I saw these gates on-line for over $200 and almost purchased one... thank goodness saw this before placing my order!

I did read all the reviews for this item and I realized that several purchasers had problems with the quality of this gate. However, because I wanted a free standing, small gate my choices were very limited. So, I bought one with the risks in mind.

However, I did not imagine that the risks could include warping and falling apart without even being touched by animal or human after 3 weeks of use. I posted pictures so that any potential purchaser could see what happened to our gate.

It would be very nice for this manufacturer to fix the serious problems with this gate, but I'm not expecting that they read these reviews.

I will keep using it (my dogs are very small) until all the wooden vertical posts have popped out and there's nothing more than a ratty frame (that will probably be entirely warped by then too).

I purchased this gate thinking that it was attractive and sturdy and would be great blocking our puppy from the kitchen. The moment I took it from the box, the spokes started to fall out. I arranged to send it back but the Seller aid no need to return it, they'd send another. They sent it right away and sure enough it fell apart immediately. Tried to repair it, and it's beyond repair. Even Gorilla glue doesn't hold it together. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this pet gate to anyone as it basically arrives broken.

This gate is a total rip off!!!! My 13 pound dog can push over. He also can slide one side over and slip through since their is no way to lock in place. Only if you have a blind 5 lb dog would this work. Prouduct is made cheap, the wood is already warping after a week. All I can say is buy something else!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would not recommend this product. It's not very sturdy. I have a very small dog that was not able to be contained with this gate. It is flemsy and can be knocked over easily. It's also starting to come apart after just a few days!
