I am thrilled with this item for use in my new Double-Door Midwest Crate.....We had our first road trip this past weekend using this Mat and my two furry companions seemed to enjoy the comfort of this mat. They can stand up on it just fine without loosing footing while I am driving the car and they seem to move with less stiffness/soreness in their joints after we have been in the car for three to four hours at a time before stopping to stretch our legs when traveling distances.
I like the Chenille Cover very much. Great Upholstery Quality Strong Zipper! I keep the car refreshed with Febreeze Pet Freshner and my companions seem to love the comfort of the cover on the mat and they sleep as sound on this mat as they do in their recliners at home.
Highly recommend. Not stiff or too thick........just right!

I purchased two of these for my bullmastiff's kennels. I like the product because of the memory foam and removable cover that zips off and is machine washable. Upon receiving these, one of the zippers was kind of off and I didn't think anything of it... until my dog managed to chew it up to uselessness. I thought it was just because the zipper was a little off to begin with. THEN he chewed up the perfectly fine zipper on the other one. The zippers are plastic. Guess they cannot withstand a chewing dog. Maybe metal would have been a better choice for construction. At any rate, I will be replacing the zippers with Velcro in order to use these again.

Adopted a greyhound dog and bought this to give her more support as she is very thinned skinned. She does use it and seems to like it however she was happy sleeping on a comforter which appears to be thicker, This product was definitely oveerpriced for what it is. We could have bought a thicker one for less money locally but I'm usually not disappointed with dealing with Amazon vendors....

It's great! It's thin enough to slip under the couch but it's pretty comfortable for it's size. I wouldn't use it as a bed for a dog to sleep in. I use it as a place for my dog to lie down in the living room as an alternative to the hard tile floors. The cover is removable and very durable. A medium sized dog or even a small Labrador retriever could fit on it. I recommend this for anyone who wants to teach there dog "Place".
