Cheap PETCO Home and Travel Portable Canvas Crate

PETCO Home and Travel Portable Canvas Crate

this is a great crate as I can pick it up easily and the dog sleeps in it every night. If he is upset about something it is his 'safe place' to go. It has various zip sides and air vents so it is protective but also not opaque. It fits on the back seat of my small car. I am thinking of buying another one for the other dog.

These are expensive dog kennels, I got that. But I have a special use for them, I use them in the baggage area of my 4 seat airplane. I put it in there, pop it up and my lab. is eager to jump right in and off we go. I like it as the dog has plenty of ventilation and the mesh screens keep dog hair in the kennel.

This product may be Tuff by name definitely not by nature!

My young dog chewed his way through this in no time flat and was choking on the yellow fuzz at one time

Not a good product in my opinion

THESE ARE AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND WHEN THEY SAY "TUFF" THEY MEAN IT. OVER THE YEARS AND 3 WESTIES, WE'VE PROBABLY BOUGHT 2 OR 3 DOZEN OF THEM AND ONLY THROW THEM AWAY WHEN THEY GET REALLY DIRTY OR RUN OVER WITH THE LAWN MOWER. THEY DO COME IN DIFFERENT SIZES SO IF YOU HAVE A DOG THAY LOVES TO PLAY "FETCH", THESE ARE FOR YOU.

These are really tiny which is fine for a tiny dog. They are smaller than a true tennis ball and don't bounce as well. They smelled like straw and not like mint. The smell was overpowering in our house.

Honest reviews on Petsport Jr. Mint Balls 2 Pack

Not really minty and a little too hard for small dogs...that's all I really have to say about that.

It may be just my dog's fault, but my rat terrier has it down to an art to bite it right ont he seam of the ball and break it in half. Several years ago, these balls didn't do that and lasted me awhile. These will last me anywhere between like 30 minutes to a couple days. I think they're seam quality has deteriorated. Other than that, my dog loves em, and the mint helps.

This big bowl is perfect for my dog's water. Great construction. Nice color. This is a wonderful item. I would highly recommend it. I'm not sure how it compares to other bowls in this same line that have different designs, but this is exactly as expected.

Bella usually loves Dingo products, and she loves sweet potato anything. For whatever reason, she was not really happy with these.

This is what my mini schnauzer and her friends think. I often give them the Blasts when they are relaxing after rough-housing!

One of our greyhounds has suffered for years with anxiety thunder drove her into fits. For three years we have had her on anxiety medication and it still did not stop her shivering fits over thunder and fireworks. Then we did an consultation with a pet therapyst and she suggested we try this product. It has had amazing results!!!!! Our dog is now off the expensive sedatives and is very calm and relaxed!!!! I highly recommend this product I don't know where we would be without it!

We recently adopted a German Shepherd after the death of our dog, "Bandit", from the same rescue organization from which we adopted Bandit. "Babe" was a much more nervous dog than Bandit due to the fact that she had spent the last two years outside and was having trouble adjusting to being inside all day. Plus, my husband and I are gone all day at work and have a long commute. I suggested that we try the canine version of this product that had worked so well for our cat, Calvin. Within hours of activating it, Babe began to calm down and stopped whining as much. She is no longer thrown into a panic when my husband leaves the house she is very much daddy's girl! About four weeks after we first plugged the product in, I noticed that Babe had resumed her nervous whiny ways, pacing around anxiously. I noticed that the Comfort Zone needed refilling, and restocked it. Within hours, Babe was calm once again. Thus, I can gladly say this product does work well both the feline and canine versions and would recommend it to anyone who needs to calm and comfort their pet without the use of drugs.

My dog became frightened of loud noises in 2003 after a bad accident. I tried everything from drugs, therapy, and training but his anxiety kept climbing, to the point that he seriously hurt himself, because he was so disoriented. To top this off, after a storm or fireworks (anything really loud) he would continue to be stressed for DAYS and have chronic, uncontrolled diarrhea afterward.

In 2005, Doctors said there wasn't anything further that could be done and then I found the DAP program in Europe and ordered it. It came with the diffuser, spray, training book (just tells you how to use everything), and a training DVD (has lots of sounds and lights).

Now (2007 almost 2 years of usage), he can sit still/quite or lay down during most of the noise and small storms no longer bother him at all; heck, he even goes outside during them! After the big storms/fireworks/noises he is completely fine in about 10 minutes instead of days. When he gets excited with the loud cracks of thunder or the whistling fireworks, I give him the spray, which relieves him immediately; otherwise the diffuser is all he needs. He still doesn't like storms & fireworks and I still use a leash & sit with him (and train him). He still cries, whines and paces (for a few minutes) but NO LONGER become disoriented, shivers, pees, vomits or climb the walls. He is controllable and getting back to his old self again!

If you need help with your pet's anxiety, I highly recommend this product in combination with the spray, a leash and repetitive training It is somewhat new for the USA but, ask your doctor about it and make sure you work with your dog too. Refills sold at Amazon are the best price around that I've found.

I've tried this with a nervous older dog and a brand new puppy, and I can say, this delivers on promises. Very little whimpering with a new puppy, and my older dog lost a lot of her fear of certain situations. Definitely worth a try for your problem dog...

This product was delivered promptly and totally as advertised. So the merchant did a really good job. I question the effectiveness of the product itself. I have had them plugged in for over a month and have noticed no difference in my hyper-dogs' behaviour. However it may just be my dogs as I have friends who have had very good results with this product.

Before you buy: Take a look at the room that you want to protect. Call up a furniture store and say, "how much will it cost to replace "xxxxx" if my dog/puppy eats it?" Then take that figure and compare it to this gate. Done. Buy it. Unfortunately, we learned the expensive way how valuable this gate can be.

Here is why I rate a 5-star: (a) Free-standing (b) No drills, screws, or wall marks, (c) 5-minutes to install, (d) easy locking hinges on the side that make configurations a snap, (e) easy door latch that is confusing enough for a pet or child while still convenient for an adult, (f) slow, but firm return spring on the door so our puppies have to time their escape plans a little better, (g) peace of mind (subjective).

Yes, everything could be designed better, yes, it could have better construction, more durable parts, etc. (and yes, you're free to go to the hardware store and build one yourself too).

From the "contained" point of view. Our senior dog knows no door or hinge that can get between him and us. Consequently, we have to be careful that he doesn't damage his muzzle in an effort to slide the thing left or right between the frame and the wall but he's not our concern; puppies are. The younger puppies have not figured it out yet. Currently, they are working on the chasing-the-tail puzzle and when they've conquered that, then they may step up to the gate challenge. However, all leading behaviors suggest that this thing will work much better than previous gates.

2013-September: Going strong. teeth marks on the support legs are signs of thwarted doggy attempts at escape. I sleep with one eye open. They are plotting. They now have a walking toddler accomplice who is divising attempts to break free from containment and begin a life of crayola wall art "on the outside." So far, the gate is mystifying to those who try to follow mommy and daddy through the mystery gate.

I bought this gate to match some other gates I have from Richell... I use this one in doorways and other various rooms that I want to keep the dogs out of. Some of the bigger dogs can move it and it doesn't close on it's own no matter how hard I push closed once I walk thru, so I have to manually latch it. Because of the freestanding feet it's not very easy to put away somewhere when not in use, unless I take the legs off. Moving the side panels is awkward because you have to lift the opposite side of the panel you want to move.

Great, highquality productkeeps my 70lb dogs from rushing the front door! Highly recommended, 5 stars. I would definitely order it again.

Honest reviews on Richell Premium Plus Freestanding Pet Gate with Door

I actually LOVE this free-standing pet gate but will explain the 4 instead of 5 stars. Contrary to other reviews I read in advance, it arrived without any broken hardware and is a very nice-looking gate (I also have 2 Richell long/low barrier gates of the same style). Also, the gate door swings shut and locks in place automatically no matter which side I open (careful not to force the door open past 90 degrees or to allow it to slam shut too hard...gentle use will keep this working well longer). However, it wasn't quite as easy to put together as other reviews stated. First, the wooden feet are 4 separate pieces that must be manually screwed into the main gate: on one side of the gate this is easily done on the vertical end of 2 of the feet -a short screw hole in both wooden feet; however, for the 2 wooden feet that go on the other side of the gate, you need to carefully navigate the screw into the much longer-burrowed opening leading to the nail hole that's on the vertical part of the wooden foot while holding the leg steady...not so easy to hold the foot with one hand and screw the nail straight into the unseen nail hole at the same time (better if you have a second person helping...I didn't). This may be why one person's review mentioned her own foot hitting the wooden gate foot and it "snapping like a twig"...the screws (and accompanying washers) must be inserted completely straight and secured very tight. Another design defect is that there's a small screw that must be inserted into the dense wood at the top of the gate door once it's adjusted to the instructed distance from the opposing side panel (why this isn't pre-measured and done by the manufacturer is beyond me) -there's no hole in the top of the gate for that screw (again, manufacturer could have made it so door already at correct distance and fixed in place), and you really need a power drill to insert that screw. I used a lot of elbow grease and could only get the nail in half way...need to get a drill. Third imperfection was that the white plastic locking pin at top of the door wasn't sticking out far enough. I had to unscrew the 2 screws securing the plastic cover which houses that pin, remove the cover, gently stretch (don't overstretch) the small metal spring that the pin fits into, and then put the 3 pieces back together and re-secure the screws. Now the pin is right where it needs to be. Last issue is that while it's great that the side panels adjust in increments, they cannot be locked in place...there's no total panel position lock other than keeping the gate flat on the floor. The panels shift when lifting the gate if grabbed only by the center/door panel, i.e., the side panels slide slightly downwards from their plastic connectors in order to adjust them. It really would have been better engineering to be able to lift the gate for floor positioning and simultaneously have the panels stay securely in place while doing so. Otherwise, the gate is great: my 13-pound dog cannot push open the door thanks to the upper and lower pin locks and she cannot push open the side panels...both of which my little genius accomplished with my previous expensive, free-standing, three-panel, accordian, wooden door gate -which ultimately fell apart and which was NOT a Richell gate. So, all said, I do recommend this gate!
