Nothing in the product information led me to believe this was a "sturdy" toy, but I wanted to test the Dog Whisperer product line and the mesh material. No toy stands up to our lab/pitt mix, but this poor duck never stood a chance. Stitching seams are no match for aggressive chewers, now the duck looks more like a bat with the wings barely holding on. Nylon material is a nice change from our normal fuzzy critters, but I would say this needs to be limited to dogs with gentle mouth and teeth. Also, definitely is not a tug-and-pull toy. 2-stars because it may be a good "prize" for a gentle dog to tote around.

Not tough enough! Didn't even fly like it should have. shouldn't sell these toys that dogs can rip open so easily

My 27lb puppy destroyed this toy in under an hour. He's definitely a toy abuser, but this toy lasted far shorter than most.

I have a small beagle sized dog and even though I received this toy as a gift I thought I would leave a review. My dog received this as an x-mas gift and in less than an hour it was destroyed. My dog basically ate $10 or however much it cost in less than 60 minutes. Total waste of money for the person who bought it and a cheaply made toy.

Bought this toy by chance, and it has become the very favorite for Louie. It seems to remind my mid size cockapoo of real birds and he has played many months with it with relatively small damage! So it really is worth buying,
