I bought this to replace an identical leash. The buckle is a little on the large side; it matches a small collar I bought, so this isn't just for bigger dogs. My dog is 12 pounds and if she were any smaller I wouldn't want such a large metal buckle flopping against her neck. I did have this leash before and it eventually fades and looks dirty.
