This crate is truly amazing. I have the 48" version for my Bernese Mountain Dog. The copper hammertone finish is beautiful and does not look like a "cage" in my home. The crate does not rattle, as the handles are covered and the clips are extremely quiet. It also has rubber feet on the bottom as to not scratch my floors. The option of having the door on the top is FABULOUS when I want to reach her without letting her out, as well as having a door on the front and side. I can place the crate against my wall without having it "stick out" into the walk area. The doors are incredible has they have extra locks. My Bernese is quite creative and figured out how to slide the bolt, but it doesn't matter with this one! The doors have additional features that keep it from opening by her, but easily by me. The wire is also have heavy duty, so it weights a ton-but I know will last a lifetime. I LOVE THIS CRATE!

This Precision Great Crate Elite crate is okay but let's get real. A top door on a crate this size is not at all practical. I bought two of these crates and am not happy. The quality is good but that top door doesn't cut it. I don't know of any one in their right mind that would load or unload a 50-70 lb dog through the top door. Precision's prior Great Crate Deluxe Sterling had a door on the front, the back and one side. This was much more practical. I own a Great Crate Deluxe Sterling one size down from this and it is my favorite crate. I own wire crates from several other companies and I will say that the quality of a Precision crate is superior to all the others.
